Row River Valley Water District

The Row River Valley Water District is your official public utility for water service in the Dorena, Culp Creek, Oregon, area.

Thanks to the efforts of the dedicated people of the Upper Row River Valley, we are now an independent Water District serving water to our customers.

On October 28th, 2010, we stopped the flow of water to the City of Cottage Grove and began to serve water under our own Public Water Service number (PWS 4101515) .

Thanks to the efforts of many dedicated individuals we have achieved our goals and been very successful. In less than 5 years we have moved from a position of not knowing if we would have water to an independent water district performing all the functions of supplying water to our residents, billing, meter reading, and complying with State regulations.

The Row River Valley Water District was formed after the nearby Cottage Grove water service announced plans to abandon the Laying Creek Water Treatment facility. The affect of this action was to discontinue water service to all customers East of Dorena Mobile Home Park. This action effectively left many residents of Dorena and Culp Creek, Oregon area with no availability of water.
